Turkish Jacquard Fabric: How to Compare Türkiye-Made Woven Fabrics

Turkish jacquard fabric is useful to compare by construction, composition, GSM, width, drape and finish rather than by country name alone. HIBA Fabrics carries several Türkiye-made jacquards, but HIBA’s wider catalogue also includes fabrics made in South Korea. The country of origin on each product page is the reference for that specific fabric.

What makes jacquard different from a printed fabric?

Jacquard creates its main motif or tonal surface through the woven structure. That can produce raised texture, sheen contrast or woven pattern without relying on a flat surface print. The result still varies greatly by fibre blend and weight, so “jacquard” does not describe one single drape or garment behaviour.

Current Türkiye-made jacquards at HIBA

Floss Satin Square-Weave Jacquard

Floss Satin Square-Weave Jacquard Fabric is made in Türkiye from 54% viscose and 46% rayon. It is 240 GSM, 143 cm wide, opaque, non-stretch and fluid, with a subtle floss-satin jacquard sheen.

Moroccan Embossed Rayon Viscose Jacquard

Moroccan Embossed Rayon Viscose Jacquard Fabric is 60% rayon, 36% viscose and 4% polyester. At 200 GSM and 148 cm wide, it is opaque, fluid and non-stretch with a raised embossed jacquard surface.

Turkish Rayon Jacquard

Turkish Rayon Jacquard Fabric is 60% rayon and 40% viscose, 190 GSM and 145 cm wide. Unlike the more fluid jacquards above, its stored drape is structured, making it useful when a cleaner woven silhouette is preferred.

Tonal Silky Viscose Jacquard

Tonal Silky Viscose Jacquard Fabric is 100% viscose, 190 GSM and 145 cm wide, with opaque coverage, fluid drape and a smooth tonal self-jacquard sheen.

Viscose Embossed Two-Tone Jacquard

Viscose Embossed Two-Tone Jacquard Fabric is a 62% rayon, 36% viscose and 2% polyester blend at 190 GSM and 145 cm wide, with a fluid opaque construction and embossed two-tone finish.

How to choose a Turkish jacquard

Choose by the garment you are making. For stronger body, compare higher-GSM or structured options. For flowing dresses, abayas and skirts, look at the stored drape and hand rather than assuming all jacquards are stiff. For visible surface dimension, compare embossed or tonal constructions in person.

Buying by the meter

The standard HIBA minimum cut is 1 meter. Swatches are available where offered so designers can evaluate colour, motif scale, texture and drape before ordering larger quantities. Wholesale pricing and production quantities depend on the specific fabric, stock, quantity and destination rather than one universal site-wide minimum.
