Silky Rayon Emprime Fabric
Silky Rayon Emprime Fabric is a Türkiye-origin 100% printed rayon fabric for kaftans, dresses, blouses, skirts, robe-style layers and boutique garment production. At 176 GSM and 145 cm wide, it has a smooth hand feel, soft fluid drape and lightweight movement without the crisp stiffness of structured base fabrics.
The collection includes two print directions: Bold Abstract Petal Print and Distressed Ink Line Print. Colourways include Midnight Blue - Black, Vanilla Cream - Black, Formal Black - Charcoal and Chocolate Brown - Black.
Use it where the garment needs flow, print interest and an easy relaxed silhouette. Because coverage needs vary by buyer and colour, test the cream and lighter colourways over your chosen lining before cutting. Darker colourways usually give stronger coverage, but final opacity depends on lighting, underlayer and garment fit.
Sold by the meter, with swatch and wholesale options available. Wholesale MOQ is 25 meters. Test a swatch before washing, steaming, pressing or cutting. Use gentle handling, avoid hot water and strong wringing, and press from the reverse side on low heat.

What buyers ask before ordering
What is Silky Rayon Emprime Fabric best used for?
It is best for printed abayas, kaftans, blouses, skirts, modest dresses, resortwear and relaxed occasion pieces where soft fluid drape is preferred.
Is this fabric suitable for abayas?
Yes. It works well for soft open abayas, relaxed closed abayas and boutique abaya layers when the design calls for printed movement rather than structured plain fabric.
Is it suitable for kaftans?
Yes. The 100% rayon composition, smooth hand feel and fluid drape suit loose kaftan shapes, robe-style layers and modest kaftan dresses.
Is this fabric opaque or sheer?
The product metafield lists it as opaque. For cream or lighter colorways, still test a swatch over the intended underlayer because perceived coverage changes with light, fit and lining.
Does it need lining for modestwear?
Lining depends on colorway, garment fit and the buyer's coverage standard. Darker colorways usually give stronger coverage, while Vanilla Cream combinations should be checked over the chosen underlayer before cutting.
Which print designs are available?
The stored variant data lists two print directions: Bold Abstract Petal Print and Distressed Ink Line Print.
Which color combinations are available?
The variant color names include Midnight Blue - Cream, Vanilla Cream - Black, Formal Black - Cream and Chocolate Brown - Cream, depending on the selected print design.
Does this rayon fabric stretch?
No. It is a non-stretch fabric, so use relaxed, draped or properly eased woven patterns rather than stretch-fit designs.
Is it good for warm-weather garments?
Yes, it is positioned for Spring, Summer and All season use. The 176 GSM rayon profile supports soft movement in loose silhouettes, especially for kaftans and relaxed dresses.
Can I use it for Eid or occasion outfits?
Yes. The printed surface, soft drape and boutique colorways make it suitable for Eid abayas, kaftan dresses, modest co-ords and occasion blouses.
What are the exact fabric specifications?
This fabric is 100% rayon, 176 GSM, 145 cm wide, made in Türkiye, and sold by meter, swatch and wholesale options.
How many meters should I consider?
The stored meter guide lists 3 meters for a blouse, skirt or small modest piece and 5 meters for a dress, abaya or kaftan, depending on pattern and layering.
Can boutiques buy it for small production or restock?
Yes. The product supports meter, swatch and wholesale purchasing, with 25 meters listed for wholesale MOQ planning.
How should I test it before sewing?
Test washing, steaming, pressing, drape, coverage and lining on a swatch first. Use gentle handling, avoid hot water and strong wringing, and press from the reverse side on low heat.
Can customers match it from a visual search or screenshot?
Yes. The product images and variant data describe the print direction and color combination, which helps customers compare it with screenshots from Instagram, Pinterest or Google Lens-style searches.

- Test first Test a swatch before washing, steaming, pressing or cutting the full fabric.
- Wash Hand wash cold, max 30°C, or dry clean if you want the safest handling route.
- Dry Do not tumble dry. Air dry gently in shade and avoid strong wringing.
- Iron Press from the reverse side on low heat with a pressing cloth.
- Cutting Let the fabric relax flat before cutting and allow extra margin for pattern matching or layout changes.
- Avoid Avoid bleach, hot water, harsh detergents, high heat and rough twisting.
General care guidance only. Results may vary by colour, print, steam, water quality and garment construction.
