Reversible Two-Tone Stretch Satin Jacquard Fabric is designed so both faces can contribute to the finished garment. The live specification is 64% rayon, 34% polyester and 2% elastane, 210 GSM and 130 cm wide, with opaque coverage, fluid drape and 2-way stretch.
What does reversible mean here?
The glossy-matte satin jacquard relationship changes between the two faces, giving designers the option to choose either side as the dominant surface or use both faces as contrasting panels. Review both sides of a physical swatch before final pattern placement.
What does 2-way stretch change?
The stored stretch specification is 2-way. It gives more flexibility than a non-stretch jacquard, but pattern ease should still be tested against the real fabric instead of assuming it behaves like a high-stretch jersey.
Which motifs are in the live family?
The product includes multiple woven motif directions such as Wave, Animal Print, Seaweed, Leaf, Pansy Flower, Lily Flower, Hibiscus Flower, Floral, Oval Lattice, Baroque and Graphic Line. The live display name uses Baroque rather than the older “Barook” spelling.
How do you finish a reversible garment?
If both faces will be visible, seam finishing becomes part of the design. Bound seams, enclosed seams or carefully planned facings can give a cleaner result than leaving a conventional interior finish exposed.
What should you test first?
Test stretch and recovery, pressing, seam construction, motif placement and both surface faces before cutting production yardage. A swatch also helps verify which colour side should dominate the final garment.
