Does four-way stretch mean I can use a non-stretch lining?
You can for loose silhouettes, but a rigid lining will limit stretch in fitted areas. If the design relies on the tulle's elasticity, choose a lining that moves with it.
Are the reflective circles sensitive to heat?
High direct heat can affect surface-finished polyester-spandex fabrics. Press only when necessary from the reverse at low heat, and test any heat-transfer embellishment process on a scrap.
Could jewellery or hook fasteners damage this fabric?
They can catch the open tulle or rub the reflective motif. Keep rough hardware away from high-contact areas and protect the fabric during fittings and storage.

- Test first Test washing, pressing, stitch settings and the intended lining on a swatch before cutting full yardage.
- Needle Start with a fine stretch or ballpoint needle and test stitch length and tension to avoid skipped stitches, puckering or snagging the open mesh.
- Relax Let the tulle lie flat and relaxed before cutting. Do not stretch the mesh to gain extra cutting width.
- Cutting Keep the circle motif oriented consistently across adjacent panels when pattern continuity matters. Allow extra fabric if precise motif placement or matching is required.
- Sewing Use a stretch-compatible seam where the garment needs elasticity and avoid pulling the tulle while it feeds through the machine.
- Pressing Avoid direct heat on the reflective face. If pressing is necessary, use very low heat from the reverse with a pressing cloth and minimal pressure.
